*facepalm* (why can’t people break up exposition?)
Reading a classmates work for creative writing. Everything is going well, the story is a bit bland but interesting nonetheless as two characters banter about their pitiful PI firm and then suddenly without warning or precedent the WALL OF TEXT strikes!
They go on for a page and a half in one paragraph and considering the story is being told in that “main character looking back” kind of style, you would think the ideas would break up like thoughts and not become a single jumble of words.
..or maybe it’s just me. Any ideas?
